Oncology Card Game (Drugopoly)

Drugopoly is a cross between Monopoly and rummy. We specifically developed this game for the oncology market although the principles apply to other markets as well. Each card pertains to a drug (total of 35 oncology drugs) and gives information on the chemical compound, patent expiration, sales force size, and sales of the company. A background color indicates the magnitude of the sales. A bright green color is associated with Taxol to indicate the drug has sales in excess of $1 billion (Taxol had sales of $1.4 billion in 2000). The card contains a picture of the cancer site (e.g. lung, breast, prostate) and gives corresponding incidence/mortality rates. Also, the card highlights the importance of the drug relative to the company portfolio via a pie chart.  To win, a player has to collect all the drugs of a company, all the drugs of a cancer site, or $2 billion.
